Description:
The appartments of "La Digue Self Catering" belong to the absolute insider tips on La Digue. Not only the location in the cosy harbour village of La Passe with its restaurants, bars and small shops is incredibly pleasant, but also the modern furnishings of the flats. The buildings are built in a Creole style and the furnishings also contain elements from Seychelles culture, which makes a stay very special. All flats are exquisitely equipped, so you don't have to worry about almost anything during your stay.
Due to the central location of the accommodation, you can enjoy real Seychelles life in the immediate vicinity as well as an excellent infrastructure of restaurants, cafes, bars, souvenir stores and small supermarkets. Highly recommended are the restaurants of the hotels "Le Domaine de l'Orangeraie" and "La Digue Island Lodge", which enchant you with genuine Creole cuisine. You should not miss the sunset on the beach of La Passe, which creates a truly romantic atmosphere and tempts you to a glass of champagne on the beach.
After a hearty breakfast, you can set off for one of the many different activities on the island, such as a fishing trip, or else a bike ride around the island, which can be circumnavigated in a few hours due to its small size. This is definitely worthwhile, as the breathtaking nature can be discovered especially well. Also not to be missed is a visit to the nature park L'Union Estate, where one of the most beautiful beaches in the world is located: Anse Source d'Argent.

Cleanliness, service, presence and punctuality of the staff is perfect. The location was ideal for our purposes - close to the ferry pier and within the town. Some beaches can be reached within 5 to 15 minutes on foot, the rest of La Digue can of course be reached by bike. Great breakfast in the nearby restaurant with sea views and friendly staff. Structure very close to the port, supermarkets and the only bakery/pastry shop on La Digue, which we found very convenient considering that the island can only be explored on foot or by bicycle. The room was too small to be self catering, but well organised, with a tiny kitchenette and a very small shelf to be able to eat at least for breakfast.
