Description:
The well-maintained Domaine de Bacova estate consists of two villas and a bungalow where guests can spend an unforgettable self-catering holiday. The large garden also offers an outside area to relax, especially in the evenings, where freshly-caught fish can be prepared on the grill while guests admire the surrounding tropical plants and palm trees.
Over 100 years ago, the estate's surroundings formed part of a plantation for bananas, coconuts, and vanilla, hence the Bacova name. Today, Le Domaine de Bacova has grown into one of the best self-catering resorts on Mahé.
Thanks to the close proximity of the beach, guests can look forward to a fabulous tropical Seychelles holiday. The stunning sandy landscapes and excellent climate of the Seychelles will allow you to forget the worries of daily life as you relax under the tropical sun.
The bungalow and two villas, which can also be rented as two separate studio apartments, are furnished in a friendly, welcoming manner, and offer a charming modern atmosphere to guests.
Besides relaxing at the Pointe au Sel beach, we also recommend a trip across the island. You should definitely go on a trip to Grande Anse and Beau Vallon, as the beauty of both beaches shouldn't be missed by anyone!

Our last home in the Seychelles. We had the studio on the first floor. Wonderful view of the sea but with a busy road in front of the house. But that has been described sufficiently. It didn't bother us. We really liked the location in the southeast of the island at the Pointe du Sel. Opposite is the Bacova Sur Mer. You get the code for the gate and you're on the beach. Contrary to some descriptions on the internet, we really liked this beach. Quiet, small and nice. Of course it is like everywhere with offshore reefs, the water is very calm but dependent on the tide. I mean, it's difficult to swim at low tide. All the better for snorkeling. In this accommodation we actually had no personal contact with the owner. Everything happened via WhatsApp. This was a bit strange at first after two very personally managed accommodations. Especially since Henri lived right next door. In terms of ambience, the small apartment was the nicest thing we had on our trip. The outdoor area was beautiful and was cared for daily with a lot of love. On the day of our departure, Mahé had a more than black day. There was a devastating explosion in the industrial area of Providence between the airport and Victoria, with many injuries and widespread destruction. In the north, due to persistent heavy rain, a landslide occurred that claimed 3 lives and several roads were washed out or completely destroyed. A sewage pipeline burst in the Beau Vallon area and swimming was banned. The Prime Minister of Seychelles declared a national emergency. Public life came to a standstill and travelers were only allowed to go to the airport. Henri helped easily and we were allowed to stay in our apartment until we left for the airport. Our heartfelt thanks again for this. Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
