The apartments are designed for those who want to prepare their own food, thanks to a fully-equipped kitchen, large-capacity fridge/freezer, microwave, oven, stove, toaster, crockery for 4 people, and all the usual cooking utensils. Besides the kitchen, there is a beautiful 4-seater dining area which merges into the open-plan living area. There is a cosy seating area with sofa, table, sideboard, and flatscreen TV by the glass door which opens out onto the porch. The bedroom is next to the living area, and offers a bed with ocean views. Behind the double bed is the huge en suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The furnishings are of a high-quality and will match up to even the highest standards. The warm, earthy tones of the interior and the custom-made furniture provide the perfect finishing touch to the interior.
The apartments' surroundings are equally impressive. From your private veranda, it's just a short walk down a flight of stairs to the beach, where the palm trees and coconuts will make you think you're in paradise. The palm trees also offer a welcome spot of shade near to the water.
The Fleur de Sel is one of very few guesthouses in this prime location on Mahé, and its extraordinary value for money is another reason for our recommendation. As with all our accommodations, our team has visited the Fleur de Sel, and left convinced of its high-quality offerings.

At the end of our holiday on the island of Mahe we stayed at the Fleur De Sel. The owner is called Anne and she looks after her guests wonderfully. Here too, supermarkets are within easy walking distance. But to explore the island you should book a rental car. Without a car you won't see much of the island of Mahe. If you're looking for an adventure you can also take the bus. We didn't use that, though. Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
Nice location with sea views. Unfortunately, the bungalow is getting old and doesn't seem very clean. Furnishings are functional, but without decorations or anything else for reception like in the other accommodations. Lots of ants quickly appear in the kitchen as soon as something isn't cleared away or put in the fridge straight away. We've never seen that before. Wooden tables in the garden were unkempt and not inviting to linger there. Beach towels were never changed in the 6 days, there were only 3 towels in the bathroom, a frayed bath towel for each and 1 small towel. The accommodation is far from luxurious as the description says. There was no contact person who was always on site. Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
