Description:

After Vasco da Gama discovered the Seychelles, they were called the "Seven Sisters Archipelago" on Portuguese maps. There was even a constellation, the Seven Sisters, which was used for navigation at sea. Each of these sisters was named after one of the daughters of the Pleiades. The most beautiful of the Seven Sisters was "Maia" the Great.
Truly great is also the resort of the same name, Maia. Discover yourself anew and be inspired. Let your senses blossom on one of the most luxurious resorts in the world, at a place which created solely for one purpose, perfect delight, absolute recovery and long-lasting peace. This place is called Maia and is situated on the lush island of Mahé on a secluded, pristine beach with clear turquoise blue waters, the beach called "Anse Louis".

Maia is more than a refuge, more than a retreat, and much, much more than just a hotel. It is situated on 12 acres of pristine natural idyll on the beach and is thus a place where the soul comes to rest and the spirit is refueled.

All 30 villas, each with approximately 250m² living area are decorated in warm earth tones and offer 180° unobstructed view over the ocean. There are 3 ocean view villas, 8 ocean front villas, 11 ocean panoramic villas and 8 Maia signature villas. All villas are luxuriously furnished, have air conditioned bedrooms with attached bathroom with shower and 2 sinks. Outside there is a bathtub (for 2 persons), embedded in an infinity pool.

We from Seyvillas also confirm, that this luxury resort is only one step and one breath away from paradise. Here you can really breathe the sweet sea air and the soft scent of tropical flora. Dive into the calm, turquoise waters and drift into a world of peace and tranquility. Float in you own pool just above the sea while enjoying the view out onto the calm beach free of any sound of motorised water sport equipment.

The spa area was designed as a haven of pure relaxation, meditation and pampering. 3 luxurious treatment rooms where only La Prairie products are used, serve the rejuvenation and restoration of body, mind and soul.

The unbelievably good food is a fusion of cultures and tastes, where only the freshest and finest ingredients are used.

Activities and specials:

  • The hotel will be happy to arrange individual tours to the outer islands of the Seychelles with a private boat or helicopter.
  • Walks along the white sandy beach, which is located directly opposite the hotel are particularly recommended during the evening at sunset.
