The four charmingly-furnished apartments of the Hide Away complex are located on the beach of Anse Possession in the north-east of Praslin. This excellent location offers a wonderful view of Curieuse Island and its surrounding marine park. Here, visitors can go scuba diving to explore the beautiful underwater world of the Seychelles, including the colourful coral reef and the many different animal species that can be seen here.
The apartments of the estate offer a number of different facilities, including a fully-equipped kitchen, a large living room, and a spacious bedroom. That said, the real highlight of the apartment is the private veranda, where guests can watch the sunrise each morning or enjoy a cool, refreshing drink during the day.
One of the island's true highlights can be found nearby: the Vallée de Mai nature reserve. This UNESCO-protected World Heritage Site is home to the Coco dem Mer palm tree, which is unique to the Seychelles. Here, guests can explore the numerous hiking trails around the park where they can discover the bountiful plant and animal species that live here, including colourful birds and lush, green vegetation. There are also some spots of the park that offer spectacular views of the Indian Ocean. And, thanks to the well-equipped kitchen, self-catering is also a real possibility here.

We were warmly welcomed by the owner. The accommodation was very nicely located. There was a great terrace with a view of the garden and the sea. You could walk to a small beach, but it had few visitors. However, a car is recommended as there are no restaurants or shopping options nearby. The apartment itself was a bit spartan and cool. The wooden house has a fantastic location with its terrace and is so close to the beach. Unfortunately there are no shops there, but you can reach everything by bus or 20 minutes on foot.
