Description:
As a bright ball of fire sinks into the ocean on the horizon, orange, red, and yellow colours shimmer across the ocean. The Sunset View Self Catering gets its name from this spectacle, which you can enjoy every evening if you like. During the day, the close proximity to the stunning Anse à la Mouche beach is ideal - here you will find shallow, calm, crystal-clear water that is ideal for snorkelling and swimming. The bright beach is surrounded by Seychelles-typical Takamaka trees, and is ideal for relaxing. If you get hungry then there is a fruit and veg market around 300 m from the apartment. Whether you want to eat Creole food, Asian, or International, there are restaurants and bars within walking distance too.
If you decide you want to cook for yourself then it’s no problem thanks to the fully-equipped kitchen, where you can easily prepare a delicious meal for yourself before enjoying this together on the balcony or in the spacious living room. Here you have the choice between the dining table or a comfortable couch. The bedroom is also cosy thanks to the large double bed and chic interior which will ensure a relaxing night’s sleep. Curtains will ensure that you can sleep in if you like. Meanwhile, the bathroom is naturally lit, and the combination of bright blue tiles and modern, white cupboards lends the room a certain elegance.
Spend one or two days at the beach and you might find that you’re looking for something else. No problem! The Seychelles capital, Victoria, is around 40 minutes’ drive away. Here, you can find the botanical garden and clock tower of the Seychelles, which also serves as its landmark. There is a small market, as well as quaint shops and restaurants to browse. If you’re looking for a little more nature then the Morne Seychellois National Park can be reached by car in around 30 minutes - here you can find flora and fauna unique to the Seychelles.

Very nice, clean apartment with a fantastic view of the ocean and the surrounding area. Sitting on the balcony is a dream, with space for a small table with two chairs and even a clothes dryer. Welcome pack of coffee and water was very pleasant. The kitchen is moderately equipped, but it was enough for us. Good air conditioning. Small defects were fixed immediately, very friendly and helpful owner. The road leading to it is very steep, curvy, but easily passable by car. Good parking spaces available. Buses drive on the street, they are noisy. Bus stop is next to the house. But it doesn't bother you much because they don't come often and only come during the day. As everywhere on the island, you will be woken up early by the barking of dogs and the chirping of birds. But we could fall asleep again, so it wasn't disturbing. Even now we are missing here in Germany! Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
Sunset View is aptly named, the view is truly sublime and the sunset splendid. We had a very good stay there. Our hostess Christine welcomed us very well and often helped us, always available and smiling. Many thanks to her and her husband. The apartment is pleasant even if it has a dilapidated side (with a lack of kitchen utensils). The place is in a somewhat noisy neighborhood but this is hardly disturbing because we usually left during the day. We really liked the wild and peaceful side of the West of Mahé far from the denser traffic of the East and the hustle and bustle of the capital. We discovered magnificent beaches, with a crush on Port Launey (South and North), an essential gem for snorkeling. Although the bus stop is 10 meters away, we preferred to rent a car, which allows us to fully enjoy Mahé. It's almost essential. Translation (FR): GoogleTranslate
