Description:
Painted in a bright, yellow colour, the Chez Mera Self Catering guesthouse offers everything that you need for an uncomplicated self-catering holiday. Couples can enjoy the comfortable interiors of the apartments as well as the central location of the property in La Passe on La Digue. From your quaint, private terrace, you can enjoy a view of the tropical garden with its palm trees and many other exotic plants, as well as see the owner’s dog running around the garden.
Authentically Creole and typical for La Digue; the apartments are furnished with wood, tile flooring, and white walls with colourful accessories, as large windows let in plenty of light. The air-conditioned bedrooms with comfortable beds ensure a relaxing night’s sleep, while the living room and dining room are plenty big enough to enjoy mealtimes together or watch television and relax. The kitchen also has everything that you might need for a self-catering holiday.
There are hardly any cars on La Digue; this 10.2 square kilometre island has around 3000 residents, and everyone tends to get around on-foot or by bike. Shops or restaurants can be found close to the accommodation, as La Passe has everything that you might need for your holiday. The closest beach, Anse La Reunion, is around 1km away. The ocean water here is very shallow, making it ideal for swimming and snorkelling, as well as trips to the beach with the family.

The accommodation was fine. I didn't like the environment, very remote and very littered in the adjacent forest. In retrospect, I would have booked something else for the price compared to other accommodations. The owner was very nice, transfer ok. Translation (DE): GoogleTranslate
The staff are friendly but the apartment is quite small, without enough space for the suitcases that we had to move on time to be able to at least walk. Not to mention the cleanliness, dust and giant cockroaches everywhere, even on the shower curtain. I don't recommend it at all Translation (IT): GoogleTranslate
