The trip had started very well and ended in a nightmare. We arrived on Wednesday, great meal at night, very nice service, great location. We were very satisfied with Praslin and La Digue, the Hilton Double Tree was very disappointing. In the description it was described as new, modern and luxurious ... However it got old, and to top it all, the air conditioning did not work and only blew us very unpleasant smelling air into the room. We also complained, unfortunately, no other room was available for us. I also complained about the mattress of the extra bed, on this were very disgusting spots, so that we slept in the third bed in the bed at least 30 degrees. There were hair everywhere. After complaining the mattress was replaced but my daughter was so disgusted that she did not want to sleep in the bed. As compensation, the hotel gave us a bottle of wine. The location, the facilities, the restaurant and the hotel's beach fully met our high expectations. The best thing about the hotel, however, is the staff. From the hotel manager, to Ronny and Raina at the front desk or Binaya and Raunaq from the bar and restaurant to Leroy or the waitresses and chambermaids. One was always super friendly and courteous. Here you feel less as a customer than as a king. Wi-Fi was okay to good. The connection speed was usually enough for FaceTime / Skype or Surfing and always for WhatsAPP. We had only booked the breakfast (top!) And - if we were not traveling outside - during the day and in the evening a la carte always good to very good eaten. What surprised us very positively, was that the room service left literally liters of water per day. The mini-supermarket almost directly opposite we barely needed. The pool, the location and in particular the size of the hotel were very, very good. The view from the bed of the Indian Ocean and the sunrise are terrific. Unfortunately, due to the east orientation of the pool and the beach chairs from 15/16 clock already in the shade. For the hotel's own beach, the water shoes have paid off. (Keyword: sea urchin) On the other hand, there are enough on the seabed due to the rocky underground, that is worth exploring snorkelling. For other water sports, two very good sit-on-top kayaks were also available for free. A trip to the neighboring bay is a MUST! The transfer service from the ferry to the hotel worked well. The hotel is very nice, by the monsoon were always very high waves and a strong current in the sea, so we could not snorkel there. Der Rückflug von den Seychellen erfolgt jeweils samstags abends, so dass Sie sonntags früh wieder in Deutschland landen. Wir empfehlen unseren Kunden diesen Flug ganz besonders, weil dadurch erheblich die An- und Abreisezeiten verkürzt werden. Wenn Sie allerdings auf andere Reisedaten festgelegt sind, suchen wir Ihnen gerne jede gewünschte Verbindung (vermutlich mit Emirates über Dubai oder mit Air Seychelles über Paris) für Ihren Wunschtermin heraus.
