The Blue Lagoon Chalets are located in the south-west of Mahé, less than 150m from the beach of Anse à la Mouche, across a small road. With close proximity to the ocean, as well as shops and supermarkets, these chalets are a perfect beach-side self-catering accommodation on Mahé.

- A small supermarket for day-to-day needs is located just 5 minutes away, along with a fruit and veg stall where a local grower sells his tropical produce every day.
- The public bus stop is just 2 minutes away from the Blue Lagoon, allowing you to explore Mahé cheaply and easily, including the capital, Victoria, with its colourful market.
- Reception is open from 8am to 1 or 2pm. In case of need or emergency the owner can be contacted any time.
The four accommodation units of the Blue Lagoon Chalets are located near the beach of Anse à la Mouche, around 150m from the ocean. Regardless of whether you choose one of the three chalets or the even more spacious two-storey house with garden view, you will enjoy space for up to four people thanks to the two double bedrooms in each unit. Even if you only rent the accommodation for 2 people, you'll have the whole place to yourself, with the second bedroom remaining shut. Both the chalets and the house are located in a huge tropical garden with tall palm trees and numerous other Seychelles plant species. All around, there is lush greenery to enjoy.
The property is also ideally-situated in other ways, being just 150m from the beach, and within walking distance of the bus stop. Right next to the property, you can find the Anchor Café restaurant, while the small grocery shop, Opera, is located about 300m away. Buy octopus, fish, and other seafood directly at the beach and enjoy local tropical produce from the fruit and veg stall operated daily by a local crop-grower. The beach itself offers holidaymakers the chance to go swimming in the ocean, and, at high tide, the water can be accessed thanks to a gangplank that leads the way into the sea. The beach is also perfect for shell-collectors, as there are numerous beautiful shells of all sizes and colours to be found! Anse à la Mouche, like some of the Seychelles' other beaches, can disappear at high tide, with the water coming right up to the adjacent road. At low tide, however, the water recedes, leaving space to walk along the beach. Otherwise, the nearby diving centre presents a great way to explore the surroundings from a completely different, underwater perspective.
If Anse à la Mouche isn't enough for you, you can always visit one of the other nearby beaches, such as Anse Boileau, Anse Takamaka, or Baie Lazare. On your way to these beaches, you'll pass some larger supermarkets, which offer plenty of options to the self-caterer; and the fully-equipped kitchen back at your domicile means you can prepare your meals easily. On top of that, each accommodation unit comes with a private veranda, outdoor furniture, air-conditioning in the bedrooms, a large bathroom and a spacious living and dining area.

Please note: The stairs to the upper floor of the House with Garden View are unsuitable for children. Therefore, this unit is only available for rental by children aged 10 years or above, at adult rates.
If you book the chalet for 2 adults and up to 1 child and 1 baby, the extra beds will be placed in the same bedroom, while the second remains shut.

Spacious bungalow, beautifully designed with plenty of space. Very friendly reception, the hostess even speaks German. Fresh flowers on the table, breakfast ingredients in the fridge. Well equipped kitchen. The light in the bathroom above the mirror is very weak, not for contact lens wearers. So maybe bring a battery light (no outlet). The house can be somewhat problematic for noise-sensitive visitors, because the traffic on the passing road is strong to hear, especially early in the morning. The Blue Lagoon Chalets (3 in a beautiful large garden) we can really only recommend. Especially the owners Ferial and Fred were very friendly and always helpful. The chalet has large beautiful rooms with a fully equipped kitchen, so that nothing stood in the way of the self-catering holiday. Just as we imagined. If we did not want to cook, we have nearby (about 3 minutes walk) restaurants and a take-away, which offers a great meal. Also shopping for the daily needed things are within walking distance. The location on the beautiful bay is fantastic, especially the view from the terrace on the bay at breakfast. At high tide you can go for a nice walk on the beach and swim wonderful at high tide. Besides, there are not that many tourists here yet. The chalets were cleaned very thoroughly every day. All in all it was a very relaxing holiday. Gladly anytime again !!!
