Description:
The charming Cabanes des Anges guesthouse was opened in the spring of 2014 at the heart of La Digue. Thanks to the island's small size, guests are never far from the ocean or La Digue's many spectacular beaches, including Anse Sévère, Anse Source d'Argent, and Grande Anse.
The apartments offer guests a bedroom, bathroom, and living room, as well as a kitchen and a private veranda. These apartments can be found in three of the estate's buildings; besides that, there are a number of rooms/suites which offer a bedroom, bathroom, living area, and a spacious veranda. The rooms are similarly-equipped to the apartments, but do not offer a kitchen. Guests staying in the apartments have the option of booking self-catering or breakfast, whereas the guests in the suites/rooms have breakfast included in their booking price.
The interior of each living unit is cosy and welcoming, with bright ceilings, walls, and floors, along with elegant furnishings made mostly from natural timber. Tasteful decorations round the package off, creating a comfortably, stylish interior. The living areas and bedrooms are particularly comfortable, with various fabrics and lamps adding to the warm interior atmosphere. The kitchen and bathroom are both modern and elegant, providing a good interior space for your Seychelles holiday.
The aestheic flair of the apartments and rooms spills out into the architecture and landscaping of the garden. This charming outdoor space has been lovingly-arranged, inviting guests to wander through the relaxing space. Take a walk across the beautiful paths and discover the various features spread across the garden, including the gorgeous pool at the heart of the estate, complete with its own small waterfall. In addition, there are sun loungers and armchairs waiting for you to relax in, enjoying the surrounings, sipping a drink, or reading a book; it really is up to you!
La Digue is the smallest of the three main populated Seychelles islands, measuring just 3 km by 5 km (approx. 2 miles by 3 miles)with just over 2000 inhabitants. From the estate, guests can easily access shops, restaurants, and beaches, whether on-foot or by bike, making the estate great for self-caterers. The guesthouse is also located around 15 minutes' walk away from the inter-island ferry port. Besides the numerous stunning beaches, the La Digue Veuve natural reserve is well worth seeing, as it is the breeding ground of the Seychellois Paradise Snapper. There is also the Union Estate Plantage to see, with its historic settler's house, mill, wharf, and turtle breeding station counting among the attractions.

The Cabanes Des Anges is a beautifully maintained complex. The manager Nadine is very competent and has everything under control. The rooms were always cleaned and the pool was also very clean. Our favorite on our 3 week trip. Very nice accommodation, bungalow was lovingly furnished, everything you need for self-catering was available. beautiful garden area. Very clean. Not located on the beach, but that didn't bother us as we were traveling by bike anyway. Very friendly and helpful employees. Breakfast was good, fresh fruit and freshly prepared dishes to choose from every day. The only thing that was a bit disturbing was the barking of dogs from the neighboring property.
